What are stem cells?

Umbilical cord blood and tissue stem cell storage
A baby’s umbilical cord is full of stem cells. These cells can be are collected shortly after birth, the service is non-invasive; available with all types of birth and alongside delayed cord clamping. Cord blood stem cells are used in up to 85 standard therapies for conditionals and illnesses such as leukaemias and anaemias.
Once the cord blood and tissue are collected, they are safely transported to the laboratory in Nottingham by a dedicated medical courier for processing and storage by Future Health’s expert team.
